Join your peers to understand the WA Government’s priorities for the environment and water resources and the decisions underpinning the beyond 2050 strategy.
Following the release of Strategic Intent: Beyond 2050, the Western Australian Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s long-term vision for the State’s environment, water resources and communities, CEDA is pleased to welcome Director General Alistair Jones.
Alistair will outline the Department’s priorities over the next one to five years, with a focus on three key themes:
Intelligence – using data and insights to support better decision-making.
Influencing for impact – driving change and inspiring action.
Adaptive capability – building the skills and systems needed for the future.
He will also discuss how the Department is contributing to key Government priorities, including jobs and housing, and what this means for Western Australia’s future development.
