Exclusively available to CEDA members this AI Community of Best Practice, the AI Governance workshop is designed for leaders senior leaders who want to move beyond AI principles and into real operational decision-making.
Focusing on high-risk AI systems, those that impact safety, rights, access to services or critical outcomes, this workshop uses a real-world case study from a high-stakes domain to examine what responsible AI governance looks like in practice and we explore in small group discussions AI Governance framework applied to case studies. Participants will explore how to identify and classify high-risk AI, apply proportionate controls across the AI lifecycle, and meet evolving regulatory and ethical expectations without stalling delivery or innovation.
The workshop will unpack practical approaches to lifecycle governance, human-in-the-loop oversight, assurance and escalation mechanisms, and accountability structures equipping leaders with the tools and confidence to govern AI systems where the consequences of failure are highest.
